Englanninkielisen termin osat (health ja social) ovat aina päinvastaisessa järjestyksessä kuin suomenkielisessä termissä paitsi vakiintuneissa erisnimissä kuten Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. Englanninkielinen termi healthcare kirjoitetaan yhdyssanana ilman yhdysviivaa.
